KDYMM Tuanku Sultan Kedah (kiri) hadir pada pagi 21hb Mei 2010 di perkarangan Stadium Darul Aman bagi merasmikan Hari Penyayang dibawah naungan Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah.

Anakanda Sultan Kedah, Tunku Intan turut hadir memeriahkan majlis.

Turut hadir bersama Menteri Besar Kedah (kiri) pada hari tersebut bagi mengiringi Sultan Kedah untuk perasmian.

Untuk pengetahuan umum, Hari Penyayang di sambut setiap tahun bagi mengumpul dana kebajikan. Membeli sambil menderma. Antara barangan yang dijual adalah barangan terpakai yang disedekahkan dari seluruh Malaysia. Selain itu, bagi menarik perhatian orang ramai, terdapat juga barangan yang disedekahkan oleh KDYMM Sultan & Sultanah Kedah. Dimeriahkan lagi dengan sumbangan pakaian kasut daripada anakanda Sultan Kedah dan Kerabat Diraja Negeri Kedah.

FINAL EXAMINATION 2010

Dear Reader,

When final exam comes, students especially will prepared for their papers. Some students will make notes, will remember each of the sentence in the text book, some just can easily understand and will goreng with their own words. Meanwhile, there are some students who is gifted from Him, with good memory, with high self-motivation, with the eager to learn, to strive a successful results. But why it is actually, those students which having problems when it comes to final examination????  Everyday i think, this disease called LAZY, why should this disease has no cure at all? I mean, what is the best medicine for this disease? Some people say the medicine for LAZY is RAJIN? It that true? Well if it yes, how can we buy the RAJIN medicine? HOW?

Holy Month of Ramadhan

Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic year, the holy month of fasting ordained by the Quran for all adult
Muslims of the Islamic faith.  According to the Quran, the fast of Ramadhan has been instituted so that
believers "may cultivate piety" this particular month was designated because it was the month during which
Muhammad received the first of the Quran's revelations.

Ramadhan is the month in which was sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind, also clear signs for guidance and judgment between right and wrong.  So every one of you who is present at his home during that month should spend it the prescribed period should be made up by days later.  Allah s.w.t intends every facility for you, He does not want to put to difficulties.  He wants you to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you, and perchance shall be grateful.
                                                                                                                 (Al-Baqarah 2:185)

The fast during Ramadhan begins each day at dawn, when the "white thread becomes distinct from the black thread", and ends immediately at sunset. During the fast Muslims are forbidden to eat, drink or smoke.  Before retirement each night, special congregational prayers are offered in which long passages of the Quran are recited.  The night between the 26th and 27th days of Ramadhan, on which the first revelation occured, is called the Night of Determination, during which, according to the Quran, Gods determines the course of the world for the following year.
The day after the end of Ramadhan is called the Fast-Breaking and is celebrated with special prayers and festivities.
